Gather Valuable Personal Property
- Please keep your jewelry, important documents and small valuables with you during the move.
Label / Pack your boxes
- In order to prevent you boxes and the contents inside of them from being damaged please ensure that all boxes are packed to the top and taped closed. Indicate which rooms in your new home the boxes will be going into so our movers can place them into the appropriate room. If necessary, clearly mark boxes as fragile.
Furniture Preparation
- Please empty all furniture and back the contents into boxes. You may leave pillows, clothing, and blankets in your dressers and chest of drawers.

- Defrost your refrigerator in time for moving day.
- Use a notebook to keep and write down reminders.
- Communicate with utility / cable and other service companies to verify service start dates at your new home.
Packing and labeling
- Label boxes on all sides so you can see what it the box contains in a stack without having to move everything around.
- Clearly mark boxes containing fragile goods.
- Make use of popcorn or other packing material when boxing fragile or sensitive items.
- Wrap your furniture with moving blankets or padding to ensure less risk of damage.
- Pack a suitcase with clothes and toiletries, similar to going on a trip for a few days.
