Moving somewhere else in Arizona

Most of our work is inside the Phoenix metro, and that's where our hourly rates and minimums apply. But the state is bigger than the Valley, and a fair share of what we do runs well beyond it — a household heading up to the high country, a pickup out in Payson coming back to Phoenix, a move down to Tucson.

These jobs are quoted individually rather than at the local hourly rate. That isn't a way of charging more — it's that distance changes the shape of the day. A move to Flagstaff is a drive, a load, a drive and an unload, and pretending that fits an hourly local rate helps nobody.

What we need to quote one

Two addresses and a rough idea of the size. From that we can usually give you a number the same business day, and tell you honestly whether we're the right company for it.

Common questions

How is a long-distance move priced? +

Per job, not by the hour. Distance, the size of the load and how much of the day it takes all feed into one figure, and you get that figure before you book.

Is there a minimum size? +

Effectively yes. Driving three hours each way for a handful of boxes rarely makes sense for either of us. Tell us what you have and we'll say plainly whether we're the right fit.

Can you collect from somewhere outside the metro and deliver into it? +

Yes, and it's one of the more common statewide requests — a pickup out of town, delivered back to the Valley.

Do you do same-day, or is it overnight? +

Most Arizona destinations are a same-day round trip. Longer runs may be loaded one day and delivered the next, and we'll tell you which applies when we quote.

Do you move out of state? +

Our work is Arizona. For interstate moves you want a carrier with the right authority for that route, and we'd rather say so than take the job and subcontract it.
