A rough timeline
Work backwards from your date.

Four weeks out
Book the date. End of month and start of month go first. Start
sorting what you're not taking — the cheapest box to move is the
one you don't pack.

Two weeks out
Sort utilities, mail forwarding and anything your building needs — lift
bookings, certificates of insurance, HOA move windows.

One week out
Pack everything you won't need. Label by room, not by contents —
it's the room that tells us where the box goes.

The day before
Defrost the fridge, charge your phone, and set aside a box of things you'll
want that first night so it isn't buried.

Moving day
Keep a clear path to the door, keep pets somewhere out of the way, and be
there for the walk-throughs at each end.

Please keep your jewelry, important documents and small valuables with you during the move.
Label / Pack your boxes
In order to prevent you boxes and the contents inside of them from being damaged please ensure that all boxes are packed to the top and taped closed. Indicate which rooms in your new home the boxes will be going into so our movers can place them into the appropriate room. If necessary, clearly mark boxes as fragile.
Furniture Preparation
Please empty all furniture and pack the contents into boxes. You may leave pillows, clothing, and blankets in your dressers and chest of drawers.
Serviceable Items / Appliances
Our movers carry tools to help connect or disconnect certain items in your home. At an additional cost movers will connect:
